Classic Face Facial by Flawless

I made a pact with myself that I would get clearer and healthier skin, flawless enough that I’d be able to take a bare face selca without a filter. Almost everyone uses a filter, and I’m one of them, but one must never over use filters. I also wanted to prove to myself that I can get clearer skin and not have to rely on technology to make me look great all the time.

I went to Ayala Center Cebu to get a Classic Facial by Flawless. It’s been a very long time since I got a facial because I never really had the time to go to the clinic. This was the perfect opportunity to get back into a good skincare routine.

I welcomed by the staff and we were asked to fill out a form for a clinic record. After that i asked to sign a sealed packet that contained sterilized instruments. This really impressed me because I’m sure nobody wants to share those things with a complete stranger. At least with a sealed packet, you’re 100% sure that everything is clean and safer for your skin.

We were led into a dimly lit room, there was music playing in the back ground, and i had to lie down on a bed. There were 4 set up side by side, but i were the only ones who were there. The staff kindly stored our bags in a locker under the bed so that none of it was in the way.

They first had i inhale essential oil, it was meant to have me relax. I found it a bit weird at first, but the hints of lavender and maybe eucalyptus did help me calm down. After that my face was washed with their foaming wash, and I also got a facial massage too. I’m a total sucker for good massages, the type that gets me really sleep.

Next was the Eye-Destressing Gel, it’s meant to prevent dark circles under the eyes. They applied it all round my eyes and put a round cotton pad on top of it. After applying some lip balm, a facial steamer was misting my face for a good 10 minutes before moving on to the cleaning stage.

I caught by surprise when there was a hand massage. It was totally unexpected, because I couldn’t see anything but I was told that my hands were going to be wrapped in a warm pillow wrap. I liked that a lot, because the room was quite cool and I’m sensitive to cold.

The mandatory cleaning came next. I prefer to skip the details on this one, since there isn’t really anything special about it.

The last step was a laser for pore tightening. They put a thin gauze on my face as a protective layer against the laser. It smelled a little bit like it was burning, but I suppose that meant it was working.

There was a doctor’s consultation too, and I opted not to take it since I don’t really have major skin issues.

After the facial I kept going on about how refreshed I felt and how soft our skin felt. This was the only time we had to go get a facial and it was really worth it!

If you’re interested in getting a good quality facial and are under a tight budget, the Flawless Classic Facial will be perfect for you. It’s only PHP 399 for the Classic Facial. If you want something more specific facials like Anti-Aging or Acne Control, there are other facials made available for you. They aren’t that expensive either and fall into the Under PHP 1000 list.

I was told to go back to the clinic for another facial in 2 weeks, I’ll try to go back if I have the time for it. Right now I’m waiting to see the results on my skin, I’ll be sure to blog about the results.
