Whoever said we can never be royals? Well, I’ll tell you a little discovery I made, where I was treated like a princess! Well, at least for the whole Sunday afternoon.

Cafe Tiala is a new concept cafe located at The Forum, where waitresses dress like maids, and treat their guests like majesties. Choose to be seated in one of ten private rooms or walk up to the 2nd level and be social with fellow nobles. A few al fresco seats are also available just before coming in.

And look how cool their menu holders are! All of the cafes and restaurants I've been, this place was the most creative in terms of presenting their list of menu. Cafe Tiala’s menu offers a wide selection of drinks from iced coffees to teas, smoothies to lattes. They also have some Korean snack favorites and some brunch items on the menu. Let me show you some of the items I tried on the menu, and some recommendations.

There were these costumes which were free to wear. And yes, me and my best friend found a costume for ourselves. And we took picture together.

Me and my best-friend ordered Samgyupsal for our meal , Blue Lemonade and Sprite for our beverage.

Samgyupsal is another popular Korean meat dish that are enjoyed at home or at Korean resaturants that specializes in meat dishes. It consists of thick pork strips, served in the same fashion as galbi but there is no marinating involved. It is usually cooked on a grill with kimchi.

Cafe Tiala came from the words cafe and tiara. Guests get to wear tiaras/crowns when coming in, have maids treat you like shahs and enjoy their coffee/tea like royals.

You can visit their shop at Unit 2-D 2nd Floor, The Forum Bldg. Archbishop Reyes Avenue Cebu City, Philippines.
